Terms of Service

  1. These terms apply when you use Motifold (motifold.app). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
  2. You need to be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  3. Motifold subscriptions renew monthly. Credits are issued after a successful payment, expire at the end of that billing period, and do not roll over. Existing bonus and legacy purchase credits are kept separately. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
  4. Subscriptions renew every month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
  5. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
  6. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the credits from it are removed from your balance. Images you already created stay yours.
  7. You own the images you create. As between you and Motifold, all outputs you generate belong to you, and we assign to you any rights we may have in them. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes, with no extra licence fees or copy limits.
  8. You keep the rights to what you upload. You give us permission to store and process your uploads and prompts only to run the service for you, including sending them to the AI providers that generate your images.
  9. Motifold uses generative AI, including third-party models. Similar outputs may be created for other users, so we can't promise exclusivity. AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright in some countries, and some marketplaces ask you to disclose AI use. Following those rules is your responsibility.
  10. Don't use Motifold to create illegal, hateful or infringing content, to break other people's rights, to overload or attack the service, or to resell access to it. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
  11. We keep improving Motifold, so features, models and prices may change. If we change prices for your plan, we'll tell you before your next payment. Free features and beta features may change or stop.
  12. You can delete your account at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why.
  13. The service is provided as is. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
  14. We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it applies.
  15. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Questions: support@motifold.app.
